Koala Construction, Inc. is a custom home builder based in Eugene, Oregon. The company was founded in 1987 by Greg Roberts who has spent the last 19 years acquiring the reputation of building the finest “KOALA-T” homes in the area. Quality craftsmanship and attention to detail are the trademarks of every Koala home. Greg personally supervises every Koala project, working with the client and the uniquely skilled subcontractors to provide the highest quality in both design and construction. It’s this hands-on approach that sets us apart, ensuring a lifetime of value from your investment.

Greg began building custom homes in Montana in the late 1970s. (The Koala in Koala Construction is a tribute to Greg’s upbringing in Australia.) He then moved to Eugene and has since firmly established Koala in Eugene’s beautiful community. We are members of the Home Builder’s Association of Lane County and have been active in the Tour of Homes. As well, we are members of the Chamber of Commerce, have built and donated two children’s playhouses to our local chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and have sponsored a Kidsports soccer team. Koala is very proud to have been featured in Better Homes and Gardens’ Special Interest Publication seven times. We are the proud recipients of the Excellence in Concrete “Best Residential Building” award by the Oregon Concrete and Aggregate Producers Association in 2004.

Koala takes pride in every home we build. Our experience and expertise shows in the quality details of all of our homes. A skilled builder in both wood and concrete, Greg brings a wide breadth of knowledge to his role coordinating and managing the complex process of building high-end custom homes. We strive to build environmentally friendly, energy efficient, green building with the least amount of maintenance.
